I noticed that the site doesn't show the date the thread was posted. Just a string of numbers.

Thanks, I did notice that, it's not an error with the forum but because the default skin needs to be rewritten, this will be corrected ASAP as skinbox are working on it now.
In the meantime you can use any of the other skins which seem so far to work fine. Use the dropdown list at the foot of the page to change the site skin.
Please continue to report any issues you find though as I'm sure there are others.
Yours and any others peoples help on these bugs are hugely important to the development to this website and are greatly appreciated.
